2014 50th Anniversary Research Scholarships for International Students in UK

The University of Kent offers 100 50th Anniversary Research Scholarships for international students in UK. Candidates must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2i) or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent. The scholarship competition is open to all postgraduate research applicants. UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply. To be eligible for these scholarships, candidates must make a formal application for postgraduate research study at the University of Kent. 

About Scholarship: In preparation for the University’s 50th anniversary in 2015, Kent has established an additional 100 doctoral scholarships to be awarded annually from 2012. Known as Kent’s 50th Anniversary Scholars, successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential. Scholarships will be offered at the standard UK Research Councils’ rate. 

Study: Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University of Kent.

Deadline: Candidates must make a formal application for postgraduate research study. There is no fixed closing deadline for applications to research degrees. It is recommended that an applicant should apply no later than three months before their intended start date, they begin either in September or January.
